Showtime Queen
Showtime Queen is by “Hollywood Showdown” and she is out of the outstanding Sprint Race mare in “Lionee”. “Showtime Queen” is a full sister to “Hollywood Lion Queen”, one of our best-performed mares.
“Lion Queen” holds the 2003 CRCA All Round Cowgirl and Breakaway Roping Titles, as well as the Breakaway Roping Horse of the Year for the same year. She is the 2003 ABHA Capricorn Circuit 3D Barrel Racing Champion, qualifier for the CRCA Finals 2005/06 in Jnr Barrel Racing, Jnr Breakaway Roping and Ladies Breakaway Roping in 2007.
“Showtime Queen” unfortunately sustained a permanent injury, which stopped her from being able to follow in her sister’s footsteps. We knew her value as a broodmare, with her fully Imported bloodlines, so she made her way to the broodmare paddock, in which she has produced two outstanding palomino colts by “Mabo”. We look forward to her future foals.
Her dam, “Lionee” produced “Bwana Simba”, who raced 10 times for 4 wins and 4 places. “Lionee’s” progeny have been exceptionally quiet and atheletic. It is regrettable that we only got 2 mares out of this grand old lady before her passing

Kempsters Silky Oak
“Kempsters Silky Oak” is by “Sherman Oak”, out of “Holly’s Remembrance”. “Sherman Oak” is the beautiful black stallion, by Legend – “Doc Freckles Oak” Imp. He was put through the NCHA Cutting Futurity, under the guidence of Ian Francis, with limited training, where he put in a very creditable effort missing out on the final by 1 point. He then went on to campdraft, winning several drafts before he was purchased by the Kempsters. “Sherman” was a stunning type with excellent confirmation, and temperament. He has produced several good performers in the reining/drafting arenas. “Sheman’s” dam, “Hollywoods Ragamuffin” was an excellent broodmare by the legendary “Hollywood Return”, and she was out of the “Flappers Breeze” mare, “Rosevale Ragamuffin”. “Flappers Breeze” became a prolific Broodmare Sire, with many cutting and reining champions being produced from his daughters.
“Holly’s Remembrance” was also by “Hollywood Return” who produced a number of good campdraft performers. This makes “Silky Oak” a double cross “Hollywood Return” – like “Flappers Breeze”, “Hollywood Return” also was perhaps a more prolific broodmare sire, makes her a very valuable broodmare. The fact that “Hollywood Return” produced just as many good stallions and geldings – it is safe to say that he was just a “great sire” all round!
“Silky” has produced three foals so far, her first by “Hobby Horse”, the “Jessie’s Koolibah” stallion, and two by “AD Collect the Check”. Each of these foals have good quiet temperaments, good confirmation and enjoy being around people. Being a double cross “Hollywood”, we have bred her to “Phantom of the Roc” and have not been disappointed! She produced a stunning chestnut colt, who is correct in every way. [see For Sale pg – “Red Dog Saloon”].

Hollywood Morn Rose
“Hollywood Morn Rose” is the first foal by “Hollywood Showdown” and “Tyrone Morn Rose” (see Stallion and Broodmare page).
“Hollywood Morn Rose” in perhaps one of our best bred broodmares to date. She was broken in and worked, done light mustering, and education work. However, because she was a filly and “Rose’s” following foals were all colts until 2010, we decided that she might be most valuable to us as a broodmare. So she made her way to the broodmare band. She has not disappointed us, with 3 colts to date, (see Horses For Sale page). Each foal is very quiet and people friendly, whilest she, herself followed more to the “Morn Deck” line, she is passing on that quiet and willing nature that the “Hollywoods” possess. “Little Rose” is a nice big mare, but is finer built than some of the “Morn Decks and Hollywoods”.

Hollywood Moon Glow
“Hollywood Moon Glow” is by “Hollywood Moonshadow”, see Stallion pg. and she is out of our good broodmare “My Girl Sue” (Dec).
“Sue” was by “Murrumbo Handy Cutter”, who was by “Bills Cutter”. There were several good horses by “Handy Cutter” in the North and many of them in the Rodeo Arena. “Sue” sustained a permanent injury that took her out of the stock camp, and put her in the broodmare band. She produce 5 excellent foals for us before going to greener pastures. Each of her foals have a brilliant quiet temperament, and they have gone on to be good performance horses. “Hollywood Hitman” is a winner at many Western Perfomance events. “Hollywood Handy Girl” went on to be a good Breakaway Roping/Steer Undecorating/barrel Horse. “Hollywood Casino Royale” has a very promising, roping/barrel career, but is also retained by the stud for breeding later on. All of these are by “Hollywood Showdown”.
“Hollywood Moon Glow” is by “Moonshadow” and for this reason was also to be retained for breeding, so we felt that we should breed from her sooner rather than later. Being the last of “Sue’s” foals, we knew she would be quiet and have a good temperament, and a ton of ability and athleticism. She is a lovely copper chestnut, and is the image of her sire. However she is very much like her paternal granddam – “Boolarong Cinnamoon” – AKA “Gunalda Girl” (Multiple race and Brisbane Royal Show winner) to look at. “Moon Glow” is a very pretty, correct mare, and if her first foal by “King Hollywood” is any indication, she won’t disappoint us as a broodmare.

Viva Roc Vegas
“Viva Roc Vegas” was our first foal to hit the ground by “Phantom of the Roc”(see Stallion page), she was out of “Showtime Queen”(see Broodmare page), full sister to our title winning mare, “Hollywood Lion Queen”. So as you can imagine, we were very excited on this awaited 4 legged bundle.
When she was a palomino filly, we were over the moon.
“Viva Roc Vegas” is an extremely nice filly, with all the attributes of both her sire and dam – pretty head with a beautiful fine neck and a good length of rein, sloping shoulder and long hip, with good straight legs. She will have speed to burn and she is a lovely quiet filly to boot. She is going through a growth spurt right now and is going to be a big mare with some length about her.
As mentioned above, “Showtime Queen” is full sister to “Hollywood Lion Queen”, who has many wins in Ladies Breakaway Roping, Barrel Racing, Heeling and was ’03 CRCA All round Cowgirl and Ladies Breakaway Roping” Champion, ’03, 2010 Average Winner LBRoping, just to name a few. “Showtime Queen” has produced 2 geldings by “Mabo”, who are now both in training, one is Campdrafting with good scores, while the last foal “Hollywood Flashback” is being set for the Challenges.
Her sire “Phantom of the Roc” was a champion barrel racer, winning the “Holy Grail” of Barrel Racing – Mt Isa. He won the All Round Cowgirl there also with a high placing in the Ladies Breakaway Roping, and went on to win numerous barrel races enroute to the Australian Champion All Round Cowgirl title in 2004. “Phantom” was a winning camphorse at a very young age and went on to win many major drafts, and Halter classes before heading down the Rodeo trail.
By all of the above, one would say Barrel Race and Rope on her, however, with her athletic build and ability, she will suit Cutting, Reining, Drafting or Challenges. Versatility is in her blood !
“Viva”, now a 2 yr old, has been broken in by Cody Stevens and is going beautifully. She has the grace and movement for the show ring, however she is athletic and can cover the ground, so she has a big performance career ahead of her. Cody said she was calm, willing and free moving. She has a good stop and can step around herself. She will excel in any field from drafting to roping, reining to barrel racing, cutting to dressage – you choose!

Dun It Good
It is with the greatest of excitement that we have awaited this boy!!! Our first foal by “Dun It Downunder”! He sure is a beauty! He is stamped with “Dun It Downunder” – pretty head, good length of rein, sloping shoulder, and big, strong hip – this boy is built to work.
There is so much to say about “Dun It Downunder” – he is the sire of Champion reiners, both Open and Non Pro. Which is a testament to him passing on the great temperament of “Hollywood Dun It” – the first Million Dollar earner in the World of Reining, and is still the Number 2 All Time Sire of Reiners in the World, many years after his passing. However we think that “Dun It Downunder” will sire Roping, Barrel Racing, Campdrafting and Challenge horses, because that is exactly what “Hollywood Dun It” has done in the USA. Their dominance in the Reining arena, has overshadowed the wonderful performance in so many other disciplines. [See “Dun It Downunder” Stallion pg. for full history of “Dun It” and this magnificent line of horses].
He is out of “Kempsters Silky Oak”, who is a double cross “Hollywood”, being out of a “Hollywood Return” Daughter. She is by “Sherman Oak”, who is by “Doc Freckles Oak” and is out of another “H R” daughter. “Sherman Oak” went to the NCHA Cutting Futurity, missing the final by 1 point, however he went on to be a successful campdrafter. He has sired several winners in Reining and drafting. “Kempsters Silky Oak” has had two fillies and one colt, with the first two fillies broken in and going well, they are started on cattle and showing great promise. The colt is ready to break in and is by “AD Collect the Check” and has been purchased by Jack Danials because he is so impressed with his full sister.
With “Dun It Downunder” sadly deceased, this is one of the youngest colts by him, and also a direct grandson of “Hollywood Dun It”. “Dun It Good” has a lovely temperament, very trainable and smart, with good movement. There is no doubt that he will rein – that is a given – he is a “Dun It” after all! However, with his bottom line, he will cut, draft or Working Cow Horse, rope, challenge or barrel race. And you know what – the “Hollywood Dun Its” have dun all of that too!
Whilst he doesn’t have much chrome, his silver mane adds sparkle[and it keeps getting lighter] and he is going darker with each day, so may end up with his mother’s liver dapples. He has very correct comformation, and stylish movement, and is a very pretty boy, so will do well in the show ring. This colt is a definite Futurity Prospect.
Dun It Good has been broken in by Cody Stevens of CKS Performance Horses, and is showing great potential. He is an excellent walker and is very balanced in his circles, for a green horse. He is showing good potential for either Reining, Campdrafting or Challenge.

Driftin on the Roc
“Driftin on the Roc” is a beautiful buckskin filly out of “Driftin In Hollywood” [See Broodmare Page] by the outstanding sire in “Phantom of the Roc” [See Stallion Page]. This filly is bred to do anything that requires speed and cowsense. She has an outstanding nature, the looks to match and is lovely and quiet.
Once again, we could say that “Driftin In Hollywood” is perhaps our best mare, and she would have to go in the small group of the ‘best horses we have owned’ along with “Hollywood Lion Queen”. In some respects she is better than “Lion Queen” because “Driftin” is, like her sire, truely versatile. She has placed in Campdrafts [placed 3rd in her first maiden], won Barrel Races and Ropings, both Heeling and Breakaway, and won and placed at Halter and Western Pleasure/Riding and won numerous Rodeo Queen Competitions. Most of which we would do several of those events all on the one weekend. So she certainly has earned her Stripes!
Several competitors have described “Phantom of the Roc” as a “True Athlete” on the Rodeo Circuit. Having won the 2004 Mt Isa Barrel Race and All Round Champion Cowgirl title, the 2004 APRA All-round Cowgirl and wins in Breakaway, Roping and Steer Undecorating one can see why he has be described as an “athlete”. He won all this with his owner Suzie Fearon aboard. He started his competition in the Campdraft arena. Missing out on the final of the Warwick Gold Cup by 1 point is no mean feat for any horse, however he was just a four year old at the time. He never missed a beat and went on to win numerous Novice and Open Campdrafts. Once in Suzie’s hands, she turned him to the Rodeo arena when at Boulia Easter Rodeo and Campdraft she entered the Barrel Race just to ‘make up numbers’ and came second to Wendy Christie’s great horse “Major”, and the rest is history.
It is a fairly certain thing that by her breeding, this filly will be very good at what her chosen field is, however, it is also safe to say that she will excel in numerous events – whatever she is put to. Barrel Racing and Roping, I think is a ‘given’, however she should Draft, Rein, Challenge and is certainly pretty enough and has the conformation to show. Her temperament shows us that she will take it all in her stride, as her first outing was to the ATRA National Finals in Capella – noise, trucks, other horses, different water, suroundings and food, an indoor building – the little girl handled it like a pro. “Driftin on the Roc” is an outstanding filly, in both type and temperament, and will be a definite Futurity prospect in almost any field.

Showtime Roc
“Showtime Roc” is a well grown filly with strong bones, good, sloping shoulder and big hip. Her Sire – “Phantom of the Roc” who was a champion barrel racer, winning the “Holy Grail” of Barrel Racing – Mt Isa. He won the All Round Cowgirl there also with a high placing in the Ladies Breakaway Roping, and went on to win numerous barrel races and Ropings on the way to the Australian Champion All Round Cowgirl title in 2004. He won many Steer Undecorating and has won numerous Open Campdrafts and Halter Classes at a young age. His performance and versatility is outstanding making him one of the “True Athletes” of the Australian Quarter Horse Fraternity.
“Showtime Roc” is the second filly that is from “Showtime Queen”, and is a full sister to “Viva Roc Vegas”. All of “Showtime Queens” foals have a natural quiet disposition, and are people horses. Her first two geldings by “Mabo” [great campdrafter and sire of Campdrafters] have slotted right into the campdraft/challenge field, with “Hollywood Flashback” being successful in his challenge year, despite limited showing. “Showtime Queen” is of course, full sister to “Hollywood Lion Queen” who in 2014 won the Australian ATRA #7 Championship with $4000 and a beautiful trophy saddle – making her our best performed mare.
“Showtime Roc” is built to perform and has the size and strength of bone to be a contender in Campdrafting, Challenges, Roping, Barrel Racing, reining or cutting for many years, and it comes without saying, her bloodlines make her a excellent mare to breed from at a later stage. It also comes without saying that she will probably excel at more than one of those events – versatility and athletic ability run through her veins!
Showtime Roc has been broken in by Cody Stevens and is going nice. She is a good mover and has been given some light work and a spell and is due to come back into work soon. She is a kind going, mare, showing loads of potential!

Kings Gold Seeker – Sold
“
Kings Gold Seeker” just oozes style! She, like all the others has the stamp of her sire. She has “King Hollywood’s” pretty, fine head, and foxy ears. Fine neck and sloping shoulder, and a big, hip. With personality plus, she is always saying “Hey look at me”!
Her Sire “King Hollywood”, is our Junior Sire at the O.H. Corral. He has an unequaled temperament, that he passes onto his progeny. He is traveled and competed on extensively during the breeding season, with out a hassle. 2012 was his first major year of competition, with several wins and places in the Ladies Breakaway Roping and Barrel Race. His traveling partner was his sister, “Hollywood Lion Queen”. He has progeny that are competing in roping and the younger ones just being brought along now, show a good, willing mind and athletic ability. “King Hollywood’s” only outing for 2014 had him 3rd Quarter Horse Stallion, 2nd All Breeds Working Stallion, 3rd Open Reining.
“Auro Char Hollywood Seeke” was purchased from the Auro Char Stud, when we purchased “Dun It Downunder”. She is a beautiful, big silver buckskin, with lovely quiet temperament and kind eye. This was what caught our eye at first, however when we found out that she was by the great show horse and sire, “Ima Cool Seeker”, out of a sprint bred “Montana Hollywood Jet” mare, that made her twice as attractive. This filly is her first foal, and if she is any indication, she will have some gorgeous foals ahead of her yet.
“Kings Gold Seeker” has the style, movement, presence and of course, the bloodlines on both sire and dams side, to be successful in the show ring. However with her build, temperament and once again, her bloodlines – very successful working horse bloodlines also- she will no doubt, Rein, Draft, Challenge Rope or Barrel Race. She is so pretty that she will be an asset to any breeding program.

Rosies Mornin Roc – Sold
“Rosies Mornin Roc” is the second filly by “Phantom of the Roc” out of the great “Morn Deck/Jet Boom” broodmare –“Tyrone Morns Rose”.
“Rosie” is a well grown filly, she is leggy, great length of rein and sloping shoulder and big hip. She is a very similar build to her older sibling, “Mornin Zita”, however not quite as chunky. She will be tall, as she is a leggy filly. She is athletic, quick, smart and alert. This mare will be a definite Barrel Futurity prospect because of her breeding.
“Phantom of the Roc” needs little introduction [see Stallion pg] – Winner of the “Holy Grail” of Barrel Racing – 2004 Mt Isa Barrel Race and
All Round Champion. Not only Barrel Racing, but Breakaway Roping and Steer Undecorating were added accolades that gave him in the 2004 APRA All Round Cowgirl Title as well. Add to this the fact that he started his career as a campdrafter, winning numerous Novice and Open drafts, before trying his hand in the Rodeo arena.
Another link in his pedigree is that of his sire”Roc O Lena” [sire of numerous cutting horses], he sired “Traditional Roc”, who is the sire of numerous champion Barrel Racers, Cutters and Rope Horses. The next interesting point is that, “Traditional” is out of “Docs Misty Morn” – you guessed it – “Morn Deck’s” dam. “Rosie” is bred very similar to “Traditional Roc” – so she has Barrel Racing in her genes!
That is not to say that this mare won’t excel at almost any chosen field. She also has Versatility in her genes! You only have to look at her sire “Phantom” and the ‘cow sense’ and mind he displayed to be so good in such a diverse number of fields. The “Morn Decks” have excelled in Barrel Racing, however there are probably more winners in the ‘Show Ring’ if you actually did the math.
“Tyrone Morns Rose” [see Broodmare pg] has produced a number of winners at Roping and Barrel Racing, by “Hollywood Showdown”, “Hollywood Moonshadow” and “King Hollywood”, and there is still a couple to make their mark yet. So we must not forget the quality of breeding that she adds to this filly.
It is safe to say that “Rosie” will Barrel Race, and will be a definite Futurity Prospect, however, she is pretty enough to Show or Rein, and she will be smart enough to Draft, Rope, or Challenge!
